What we collect, and why

When you use the chat assistant

The assistant in the corner of this site sends what you type to our server so it can answer you. We store the text of that conversation, a random session identifier, and the IP address the message came from, in a database we run on Cloudflare. We keep it so the assistant can follow the thread of a conversation, so we can see what people actually ask us, and so we can stop somebody abusing the assistant.

If you ask us to get in touch and give us your details, the assistant also records your name, the email address or phone number you provide, and a short description of what you need. That record is stored in the same database and emailed to our business inbox so a real person sees it.

When you email us

If you write to hello@deployedaigroup.com, we receive your message and keep it, the same way any business keeps its email. Whatever you choose to put in that email is what we have.

When you just read a page

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views without cookies and without following you to other websites. It tells us things like how many people opened the pricing page. It does not build a profile of you and it cannot identify you.

When you run a free website review

If you enter a website address at the free website review, we visit that address the way any visitor or search engine would, read the pages that are publicly available, and record what we measured. We store the address you entered, the results, and your IP address. The IP address is used only to stop the tool being hammered, and it never appears in any report.

We ask for your email address only when you want the full write-up. If you give it, we store it, we email you the report, and we are told that you ran the review. That is the point of the tool being free: it is how we meet people. You can ask us to delete all of it at any time.

We do not need, and never ask for, a password or access to any of your accounts, and we install nothing on your site. We read only what is already public, we identify ourselves as DAIG-Audit, and we respect your robots.txt file. We do not republish your pages; a finding may quote a single element's own text as evidence, and nothing more.

If you enter a website that is not yours, please only enter one you are comfortable having us look at. We treat every address the same way regardless.

When you book a call

If you book a call at the booking page, we store your name, your email address, the time you chose, and, if you give them, your phone number and a note about what you want to discuss. The appointment itself is created through Cal.com, the scheduling service behind the page, which sends you the calendar invitation and the confirmation email. We keep our own copy of every booking so the record never depends on one vendor.

The booking form has an optional box asking whether we may text you about your appointment. It is unticked unless you tick it, and leaving it alone changes nothing about your booking. If you tick it, we store that choice with the booking, together with the time and the internet address it came from, and we may send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-up texts to the number you entered. Reply STOP to any message and the texts end. Our SMS terms spell out the whole program.

When you call us and we miss it

If you call our business number and we cannot pick up, our system sends you one text message saying we missed you and inviting you to reply. You get that message because you called us. We do not text people who have not contacted us first, we run no marketing lists, and we send no promotional campaigns.

To do this we store your phone number, the time of the call, and any messages exchanged, so that we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. Message frequency is low, typically one message after a missed call plus whatever back and forth you start. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting you. Reply HELP and we tell you how to reach us another way. Neither one costs you anything, and opting out of texts never affects anything else.

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, or any information gathered through text messaging, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only company that sees these messages is Twilio, which carries them for us, and the mobile carrier that delivers them to your phone.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like every web host on earth, Cloudflare processes the technical details of each request, including your IP address and browser type, in order to deliver pages and block attacks.

Who else is involved

A small number of companies handle some of this data on our behalf. We use them because the site could not work otherwise, and we do not send them anything beyond what is described above.

• Cloudflare hosts the site, stores the chat, booking and website review databases, and provides the cookieless analytics.
• Cal.com provides the scheduling behind the booking page, so the details you enter there are sent to it to create the appointment and send you the invitation.
• Anthropic provides the AI model that writes the assistant's replies, so your chat messages are sent there for a reply to be generated.
• Fastmail carries our email, so anything you write to us and anything we send you passes through them.
• Twilio carries our phone calls and text messages, so a call you place to us and any texts we exchange pass through them.
• Google provides the inbox that receives our notifications, and its PageSpeed service measures the loading speed of a site you submit for review.
• DataForSEO is asked whether a business listing exists for a site you submit for review, using only the business name shown on that site.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your information to anybody, for any purpose.
• We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting, or cross site trackers.
• We do not set cookies on this site.
• We do not use your chat messages to train AI models.
• We do not ask for information we have no use for. There is no account to create and no newsletter signup.

How long we keep it

We keep chat transcripts, website review results, and inquiries for as long as they are useful for answering you and running the business. Ask us and we will delete yours. We clear out test records and obvious junk as we find them.

Your choices

Email hello@deployedaigroup.com and ask. You can request a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it, and we will write back to confirm when it is done.

You are also never required to use the chat assistant. Email works just as well and collects less.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this page

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Anything material gets called out here rather than quietly edited in.
