I earned my J.D. in 1998, was licensed in Missouri in 1999 and Illinois in 2000, and I have practiced in the Fairhaven area ever since.

There is no associate you get handed to. The person you meet at the first appointment is the person who handles your case, appears at your hearings, and answers the phone when you call with a question at an inconvenient time.

How I work

I will tell you what your case actually looks like, including when the answer is one you would rather not hear. People sometimes find that blunt at the first meeting. They tend to appreciate it by the third.

I will also tell you when you do not need a lawyer, or when what you want is not something a court is going to give you. Both of those conversations save you money, and both are more useful than being agreed with.
